Kuan Yin: Amazing Meditation Secrets

Kuan Yin: Amazing Meditation Secrets by kuanyinspirit

In the book, The Living Word of Kuan Yin, Kuan Yin describes the correct perspective while navigating one's life:

“Kuan Yin is watching all of this as if the entire drama were playing on a TV or movie screen. Neutral, constant, non-effected, she’s just there. However, her non-judgment doesn’t mean she’s heartless or doesn’t care:”
“Lena, the only way to really utilize your human experience is to practice some kind of meditation or visualization. It does work. People really need it. It’s the only way to get through the difficult times.”
“I’ve known about all this for a long time, about the benefits of meditation and visualization,” confesses Lena. “However, Kuan Yin is reminding me again. She’s saying how this kind of practice puts us in the “Kuan Yin spirit". You’re the watcher. Instead of judging, you just see. Whether meditating upon her form or bringing light into the chakras, all these techniques will help us in our life. Kuan Yin is telling me that it is a really powerful thing to do a meditation, which involves surrounding a person with light. It’s also powerful to explore hypnosis and chakra alignment techniques. Letting go (of former beliefs and impressions) and seeing what can be learned about yourself and others helps with compassion. Of course it's beneficial for the one who is meditating. Too, the individual (meditated upon) will feel the good intentions and that you want the highest good for him.”

Imagine, for a moment, a world wherein the needs of all beings: food, shelter and safety is deemed the foremost priority—where there is true acceptance of differences. In such a heavenly world there would be no yearning for a heaven above, as all would enjoy eternal peace and harmony. Surely, it would be a starkly different reality—wherein the everyday needs of all of God’s creatures and creations had been fulfilled. Instead of dividing man from man and mankind from nature, all would be considered a part of this great community of beings. Oneness is not simply some abstract esoteric term. Nor is it somehow divorced from everyday pragmatism. It is the basis for community and sound relationships. As Kuan Yin states, it is the basis for our very existence:

“Kuan Yin is showing me visually how I’m (we all are) part of a round ball of light that people call God," illuminates Lena. “These slivers of light become a person who plays out adventures from his or her beliefs.”
You might wonder why the God force involves itself in such complex process—why we don’t remain in Oneness and Bliss. Kuan Yin explains:
"The God force experiences itself more clearly when it can separates itself out, obtain a different point of view. Because of this separation, the personification of the “Always Self”, there exists the possibility for pain."

So it is, according to Kuan Yin, we all spring from Oneness. Memories of our divine origins live within, singing and renewing our very flesh. Any precepts to the contrary can never fully erase the archetypical visions of bliss and oneness permeating our dreams and meditations. Constantly filling the cavernous maze of our psyches—the consciousness binding all life beckons us back to our unique creative force. Yet, I cannot help but wonder, in a world filled with incredible beauty and marvelous technology, why does war and poverty still prevail? Reviewing the Kuan Yin scriptures, I was anxious to discover Kuan Yin’s opinion. Do these disturbing trends in fact define humanity as inherently warlike and self-destructive? Or does the mindless hoarding and killing somehow spring from mankind's "artificial" separateness—it's forgetfulness of the One? The following is a meditation offered by Kuan Yin to help us experience Oneness in our daily lives.

“Kuan Yin is telling me that instead of seeing things and events separately, we should be perceiving them as part of the whole. Conversely, she is saying we also forget to notice the little things, a single stone or grain of sand. So, the existential question is: when to notice the little things and when to see things as a whole. A powerful meditation is when contemplating the oneness of everything is to find something’s unique qualities. For example, observing an island’s wholeness and then focusing upon the uniqueness of a single stone. Westerners are dealing with this dichotomy on a grand scale. However, Kuan Yin wants me to emphasize that this meditation is simple but powerful. It’s like physical exercise. One can practice it just once a day or as often as one likes. Other examples to meditate upon (other than an individual stone on the island beach) are faces in a crowd or a leaf on a tree. Each person (in the crowd) is unique and yet (at that very moment) part of the whole. The same is true for leaves on the trees. Practicing this deceptively easy meditation helps each of us to see reality.”

Kuan Yin states: "You create your whole world with thoughts!” Kuan Yin also explains in metaphysical terms what physicists already know--that time does not exist. The hypothesis of multiple universes is now a universally accepted scientific probability. What does such a sweeping statement reveal in terms of our supposed in-time existence? How does one reconcile such a precept with traditional definitions of reincarnation--that one is reborn into a succession of lifetimes? Having facilitated hundreds of past-life regressions (I refer to them parallel-life regressions as no time really exists): the concept that one is master of his or her reality, has always interested me. According to Kuan Yin, the present is “our escape hatch”. Yet it is not only this reality manifesting from one’s personal beliefs. Regard your multiple realities (including trance and dreams) as infinite and simultaneous fields of consciousness. Alter one, and the rest will surely follow in infinite unfolding orders.
I’d always emphasized the importance of identifying both expansive and limiting beliefs dominating one’s present reality. Previous to The Living Word, however, I wasn’t aware of the specifics of the "collective agreement" we all have chosen to participate in involving three limiting beliefs. I then perhaps should not have been surprised when Kuan Yin stated: “Our spirit knows we don’t die nor are we born. If our ego knew what our greater self knows it would not fear disaster. In your life, you forget your “Always State” or “Always Form”. You [ego] forget everything. However, you are already always that! There is only eternity, knowledge and bliss. But you’re still terrified it might not be true. That is ego at work. Ego keeps one from being free," concludes Kuan Yin.
This Kuan Yin statement holds true for however long the ego remains possessive and controlling; however long it fears death or is expectant of a certain reward or outcome. Surrendering its mistrusting, attachment, however, ego and everything it perceives and interacts with is liberated, indeed, transformed:

“I’m looking at the flower and watching how Kuan Yin relates to it,” continues Lena. “I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. I understand now how “busyness” can be a real distraction, how it can create “made up” realities. Being present means an absence of past and future. I’m seeing how bringing the mind into the present is the link to eternity and that true meditation is the acceptance of no past or future. I realize these are very brave concepts, that there are only moments upon moments to be lived. It’s almost inconceivable."

At any given spiritual crossroad, ego can choose to incorporate a measured response for applying the Kuan Yin precepts. However, as ego's possessive (and even obsessive) tendencies are heavily conserved genealogical traits, there exists the possibility for conflict between the two paths. Kuan Yin's precepts may prove too elusive for the "can do", "reasoning" ego. In genetics, when a trait is expressed as the external, physical expression of the genotype it is defined as the phenotype. By definition, ego is the phenotypic expression of the genotype. Phenotypic elements, such as having two arms and two legs are not modifiable.
The ego will continue to exist no matter how well one, for instance, does or does not nurture a child. When the mind is formed (during the human embryonic stage) five separate brainwave periodicities are created, possessing measurable ratios of increased attachment corresponding to increased brainwave frequency. For survival reasons, ego has always been endowed with a high proclivity towards attachment. A paramount example is neonatal imprinting of its mother's heartbeat and voice.
While perhaps opening the door to folly, attachment is nevertheless essential for development of individualism. Like an artist choosing what images and materials he will incorporate into his collage masterpiece, the ego acts naturally. Therefore attachment and the development of individuality work hand in hand. And it is one's uniqueness, according to Kuan Yin, also contributing to the attainment of divinity.
Kuan Yin proclaims unconditional love has the power to mitigate obsessive inclinations demonstrated by the normal ego. Unless tapping into one's compassionate and highly evolved "motherly love" trait, however, Kuan Yin's spiritual precepts may remain just an ideal, eluding many of us. Only by allowing in the countervailing force of one's compassionate nature is one saved from the trap of possessiveness and self-servitude.
While ego may have difficulty grasping the Kuan Yin’s concept of detachment, it can enlist the intellect to evaluate prevalent beliefs, intentions and emotions. However it is the universality of the alpha, theta and gamma brainwave ranges that appear to be quite comfortable, even familiar with Kuan Yin's deeper wisdom: that no time or space really exists and through employing Kuan Yin’s spiritual skills, one can, indeed, "spiritualize matter".
Science explains trance and dream activities as natural consequences of slower brainwave activity, and beta (ego) and gamma, (super-consciousness), as results of faster brainwave cycling. Neurological reactions during non-linear perceptual input and in the slower brainwave frequencies demonstrate physiological links to alternate perceptions (and the beliefs and intent driving them). Science now supports a hypothesis of certain tractable latent controls in, for example, the two EEG states of trance and sleep. Catalepsy (involuntary neural responses) and abreaction (mental and/or physical sensations) can occur while in trance and during the sleep state. REM eye movement as well as other sleep and trance-related cataleptic responses are examples of these innate biological controls.
Such a format helps de-mystify naturally occurring mind-body processes such as in and out of time (lineal and non-linear) perceptual inputs. This format does not, however, fully explain why we, as humans, possess these marvelous capabilities. EEG periodicities can be regarded as the vehicles (channel) leading an individual to his alternate paradigms (belief systems). Natural stimulation and utilization of these alternate channels (for example, dreaming, hypnosis) appear to be essential for health and maintenance of mind and body. However, there are, perhaps, even more esoteric reasons for framing studies of the mind and its infinite capabilities within EEG standards and data. In its relentless pursuit of reason (beta, in-time intelligence), our culture overlooks a critical question: Is acquisition of only in-time knowledge adequate for a visionary species? For, what are visions and dreams but infinite parallel frameworks we inhabit while at rest?
The entire purpose of non-linearity, it would appear, is to provide a certain quality of granularity and detachment: a respite from linearity and its relatively attached and "reasoning" approach. This is perhaps why trance and dream communications are couched in archetypical images, symbols and metaphor.
Even though these realms offer a sometimes stunningly different perspective, they convey their messages in such a way that is predominantly neither jarring nor hurtful. After all, the varying realms of human consciousness do not wish to create trauma. Rather, their objective is to assist in the creation of loving, trusting and expansive realities. Only when the information is considered urgent (for example, imminent health and safety issues), might one experience, for example, a nightmarish communication.
Receiving messages from one’s alternate EEG periodicities i.e. meditation, trance and dreams, one has the opportunity to experience different personas, languages and arenas. Here, one discovers he is more than just mind and body, that there exist natural inner convergences and collaborations between various aspects of the greater self, one’s soul.

The New World Gurus

The New World Gurus by Viva Dana

Throughout mankind there have been certain individuals whose soul energies were high enough in frequency that as they walked the Earth, they often stood out as lone icons for evolution during various periods of history.

Many times the people who surrounded these beings sensed something different about them. The emanations of these people were so subtle that no outward sign of difference was visible. The differences came mostly in the way they behaved.

The individuals who came in contact with these beings either instantaneously rejected what they stood for or acted on only an intuitive feeling that called them to support such individuals. Based upon each souls internal agenda for existence, one either polarized negatively or positively in response to their presence.

Part of the work of these individuals was to silently and psychically impart a vibration that spoke to the higher souls of the human beings incarnate. Their energy fields were designed to vibrationally raise the energy fields of others in a non invasive and stable way.

Our civilization and its historical memories are filled with many such individuals. It would seem natural that such a phenomenon continues. However, the shifting of humanity's consciousness at this time presents to us an entirely new challenge.

Vibrationally speaking, humanity has reached a place in its evolution where it can actually begin to take active steps in determining its own evolution. This was not possible before as the mass portion of humanity hadn't evolved to a high enough level vibrationally.

Now that there are enough of us simultaneously awakening all over the globe, we are witnessing in all of our societies, a natural shift where millions of individuated human beings are now making efforts to align their souls with the planet's own evolutional process. This is an unprecedented time in our history.

The resulting challenge is for each of us to discover within our individuated selves, that high soul we've witnessed within others throughout time. The new gurus are to be you and me. We are evolving to a place where no one human being has govern over another in any way, shape or form. We are slowly evolving to a place where each individual counts and carries equal light. In this process of rebalancing, humanity is suffering through what seems to be many tragedies and falls. We are all witnessing the rebirthing of humanity into a greater more peaceful species.

We Are Not Without Assistance

There has been birthing onto planet Earth for quite some time, several waves of incoming souls who carry more light and unity consciousness than that of previous generations. These souls carry additional chakras and DNA material that enables them to channel through their bodies higher frequencies into the atmosphere. There has been much labeling of such souls in the metaphysical fields, such as; Indigo’s, Crystals, Octarines, Blue-greens and Violets. These color designations refer to the dominant level of ‘frequency of consciousness' that such individuals hold within their physical bodies. How do these individuals differ from the average population? It’s easier to spot them than you think.

Most of these incoming souls are specifically oriented toward raising mass human consciousnesses. In the coming years, many of them will be preoccupied with pursuits that tend to unify the races of the world or bring awareness to the planet's eco system. These souls already carry in their consciousness the recognition that all human beings share an underlying light that makes them ONE. They come into the world with full awareness of the connectedness of all that is. They do not think in separatist terms.

Though many of them for now remain hidden, much of their future behavior will expose who they really are, as they attempt to actualize their spiritual purpose in the ‘real world’. These individuals have no interest in polarizing toward negative or separatist activities. However, some of them may choose to be warriors for the light and will become involved in battles, simply in order to break apart very dark energy patterns that influence and destroy the ‘spirit’ of many individualized human souls.

What do these special frequency individuals really ultimately do? What is their greater purpose? Much of humanity has lost its perceptual understanding of how it belongs to and is of, all the things and other beings that surround it. Human beings on an individuated level, practice behaviors that mimic this forgetting. The new gurus have arrived simply because it is part of a cosmic design to return to unity consciousness. All that has been behaviorally practiced in a highly polarized environment of very light and very dark energies, will in the coming generations, become more balanced so that the extreme conditions we experience on this planet, will not be a necessary component of the human evolvement process.

The new gurus will pave the way and demonstrate a more refined level of human relations. They will implement and demonstrate new emotional behavior patterns that enable each soul to understand its divine right to be self expressive, free of enslavement and yet still be part and participant of a living unit called Humanity. Human evolution is not about proving principles of right and wrong. It is about each individual soul coming to complete understanding that all outward behavior and action taken in the world is created from each one's inner thoughts and perceptions. When such perceptions are aligned with the natural order of planetary and cosmological unity consciousness, what manifests physically becomes world reality.

At present much of humanity is sleeping or preoccupied with human created toys that prevent the true ‘soul nature’ of each from emerging as self expressive spirits that can enhance the ‘whole’. The work of the new gurus is silent, behavioral and very, very powerful for through 'demonstration' of beingness at these new frequency levels, many will be able to, in safety and stability, adopt into their lives what was shown to them.

Taking Care of Yourself

Taking Care of Yourself by Dr Harry Henshaw

Living in our world today can be very stressful. While some of the stress that we experience is actually useful for motivating us, a point can be reached where it becomes very harmful, physically, emotionally and even spiritually. Knowing how to manage and even reduce the harmful effects of stress on a daily basis, of staying balanced and centered as we encounter the many stressors of everyday living, is crucial to our well being. Among other things, taking care of ourselves will necessarily involve us nurturing our physical body, of eating healthy foods, of exercising. Learning how to take care of ourselves in this respect is also very important for everyone as our experience of stress can and does affect others as well.

Learning how to take care of ourselves also involves making appropriate distinctions about ourselves, others and life in general. One distinction that is crucial for our well being is realizing how and from where much of our stress is primarily generated. While some of the stressors that we face are apart of what it is to be a human being, much of the stress that we experience is of our own creation. A great deal of the stress that we experience has its origin in our own personal story and the meaning we make about life, in the thoughts that we think. Once we understand that we are truly the cause in the matter, that we are responsible for the thoughts that we create or invent and that it is from these thoughts that much of our stress is generated, then and only then will we begin to be able to truly manage our stress and have the power to live the life that we want and love. Blaming others or situations for that which we experience will only limit our power, lead to frustration and eventually a great deal of stress.

Becoming present to the fact that we have a tendency to constantly evaluate, judge and even blame others, and especially ourselves, is very important. How we conceive of others and ourselves in this respect will make a huge difference in our experience of life. For example, for some much of their life is spent attempting to make others and themselves wrong, wrong for what they think and do, wrong for what we think and do. Once we make another wrong, especially ourselves, anger, anxiety, guilt, frustration and even sadness will eventually follow and with it a great deal of stress. A simple truth is that as human beings we are all doing the best that we can at any given moment. If we or others knew differently we would behave differently.

Another simple truth is that we are perfect, whole and complete just as we are. It is our story about ourselves that does not allow us to truly experience our own completeness. Making mistakes in life does not make us wrong or flawed in some way but only presents us with feedback and valuable opportunities for growth. Becoming present to how we make ourselves wrong, of how we put ourselves down, allows us an opening to realize that we are not what we do or think. Our true self is something much different. Becoming present to our attempts to make others and ourselves wrong in some manner will also create a cleaning for us to begin to think, feel and behave differently. Once we fully realize that we are perfect, whole and complete just as are, we will bring forth into our lives experiences that will truly empower us and others. It will be at this point that we will begin to authentically take care of ourselves. Taking care of ourselves in this respect will also involve taking care of our true self, of unconditionally loving ourselves completely. It is only when we truly love and accept ourselves, as we are, in the present moment that we will be able to do so with others. We always think, feel and behave towards others as we think, feel and act towards ourselves.

One manner in which we can practice being who we truly are is beginning to become aware of the thoughts and beliefs that exist within us including and especially those that are self-limiting. Meditation and other holistic, self-enhancement techniques of this nature allow us this ability and opportunity to watch, monitor and become present to our inner world, to the very thoughts that generate our life and experiences. Such a process will eventually allow us to truly understand that we are not our thoughts and beliefs, that we are something different from, that we are much more. Our thoughts are merely apart of the machinery of being human.

Once present to the thoughts and beliefs that quickly, if not instantly, move through our mind also allows us the opportunity to reframe from impulsively acting upon them and as a result to become free from their constraints and potential harm to us and others. Such a meditative process, especially as it applies to the thoughts and beliefs that we have about ourselves, is the key to truly taking care of yourself. Such awareness will eventually allow us to truly experience the fact that we are good enough, just as we are, one that deserves to have a wonderful and powerful life, that we truly are perfect, whole and complete. Once we fully understand this for ourselves it will allow us to get it about others, for those that we work with and for those in our lives that we love. The end result of such a meditative process is that much of the stress that we experience, especially that which we create, will simply not exist, allowing us to create or invent the life that we truly want and love and to live it powerfully.

What Am I Going To Do With The Rest Of My Life?

What Am I Going To Do With The Rest Of My Life? by LeeDavidhcz

Unexpected life changes. Anticipated transitions. Long, sleepless nights. What do these three things have in common? The ability to provoke one of the most haunting questions in the library of human introspectives:

"What on earth am I going to do with the rest of my life?"

While I can't pretend to answer to this question for anyone other than myself, I can offer those in this position some basic tips on how to ensure that their future turns out as bright as their class valedictorian said it would be.

Take Time To Create A Map

Too often, when faced with a major (or even not so major) life decision, we tend to either take the first decent choice that presents itself or we allow circumstances to choose for us by default - putting off the decision until the inexorable current of life sweeps us past the turning point. As you can imagine, this is not the best way to get what you want out of life. But the options we are faced with in life can be so wildly divergent, or so deceptively similar, that it is difficult to know which turning to take. Wouldn't it be great if we had some kind of road map that would help us know which paths to follow and which to pass by?

Below are five questions that everybody should ask himself or herself before starting out on any new path. The answers to these questions should then be used to guide decisions and to direct actions - when a choice comes up, simply compare the various options with your stated desires and choose the option that takes you closer to (or at least moves you the least farthest away from) your destination - your stated goals and desires.

1. What does success mean to me?

Be very specific. "I want to be rich," is not an answer - just what does "rich" mean, anyway? Are you thinking of a set number? And if so, why? Or is the term "rich" a substitute for certain freedoms and opportunities that you view as coming only with money - and by limiting them to being accessed only through money, are you missing out on other alternative pathways?

Some more specific alternatives to "I want to be rich," depending on the individual, might be: "I want to have enough net income to meet my current financial responsibilities without strain, plus have time and money left over for travel," or "I want to be able to comfortably afford a jet-setting lifestyle in New York City," or "I want to spend 4 days a week at home with my kids," etc.

You should try to come up with at least three answers to the question of what success really means to you personally, with each one reflecting a different facet of what you feel makes up a truly successful life. And keep the money issue to just one statement - after all, such things as personal fulfillment, spiritual meaning and other essential needs and values cannot be solved, acquired or even influenced by money

One of the biggest obstacles to success is that most of us have never consciously explored what that means to us, aside from some vague and nebulous idea of fame, fortune or other worldly success. Knowing what success really means to you - what you hope or imagine that these generic definitions of success would actually provide and how you want those things to physically look like in your life - allows you to weigh your choices more accurately.

2. What are my non-negotiable needs?

List all the things that you envision as inescapable parameters of a successful and enjoyable life. Family, travel, no debt, pleasant work environment, social status, contributions to society, spiritual involvement, public acclaim, love, excitement, comfort - any or all of these, and any others you can think of are legitimate needs that when not met create an environment of stress, want and disempowerment in your life. Knowing what you are not willing to do without makes the relative values of different options clearer.

3. What are my non-negotiable boundaries?

List all the things that you absolutely do not want present in your life. If the idea of working in a standard hierarchical office environment makes you ill, put that down. If you can't stand the thought of living in a cold climate, add that to the list. If being poked fun at about your physical condition or other attributes makes life unlivable, note that as well. By knowing what you will not tolerate, many choices become much easier to make. Plus, it allows you to set down rules and policies about who and what you will invite into your life and the standards of behavior you will, and will not, tolerate.

4. What are my key values?

Spend some time searching your soul to come up with a list of your basic values, creating a life around which would make you the person you want to be and allow you to live the life you want to live. Are you the type who values honesty, clean/green living and a deep love of nature above all things? Or are you more of a 'comforts of home', family and fun kind of person? Do you value charity over letting others find their way on their own, or is it the other way around? Knowing what you truly stand for is a vital component of good decision-making.

5. What do I want to be remembered for?

What legacy do you want to leave here when you pass on? What do you want people to say about your life and you as a person? What do you want to be known for? What would you like your obituary to say about you? Knowing where you want to end up makes choosing the path to get there, and keeping track of your progress, infinitely easier.

Key Points To Consider

There are three key points to keep in mind when you are faced with making life-changing decisions.

1. Look before you leap.

In life, as in commercial marketing, "Buy now before this opportunity is gone!" is almost always code-speak for, "Buy now, before you have time to read the fine print." True, from time to time real, honest-to-goodness, amazing, once-in-a-lifetime offers do come around. But if you have laid down a foundation of well-considered choices and clear-minded focus before this happens, you will have the presence of mind and strength of purpose to know when to jump and when to pass, and be much more capable of telling the difference between a missed opportunity and a close call.

2. Life is no longer a "one chance per person" event.

The times, they are definitely a'changing, and one of the best things to come out of that change is that we now understand that people change as well and that this is not only normal, but expected. The career or life that suited you perfectly in your 20's will most likely not fit the middle-aged you, no more than the same wardrobe or lifestyle would. Sometimes this is merely the result of the normal process of personal evolution we all go through as we age and mature, and sometimes it comes about suddenly in response to reality-shifting events and life-changing transitions such as living through a traumatic event, losing a job or getting married.

However change comes, be prepared to go with the flow. Don't worry about "all that time I spent in grad school," or what your friends and family will say. In the first instance, there is no such thing as "sunk costs" in life - 90% of nearly any education or life experience is 100% transferable to new situations and new outlets. In sports they call it "cross-training," and an athlete doesn't consider his or her training complete without in. In the second instance, well, if they love you they will want you to be happy and if they don't love you, then who cares what they think? Besides, they're not the ones who have to live this life - you are.

Also falling under this heading is the admonition not to trade a good life now for some nebulous "better tomorrow," such as spending your life zombie-ing through a career you hate for the promise of a pensioned retirement. All too often, these "tomorrows," if they ever do come, are no better than the "nows" you wasted. And as often as not the stress of living an unhappy life permanently cripples or even kills people, physically or otherwise, well before they can get to their imagined golden "tomorrow."

3. Trying to find your "one, true purpose" is a waste of life.

We are all put here on this earth for any number of reasons - some big, some small and most of which we will never understand or even realize we've participated in until well after they've become distant memory. Spending too much time trying to scry your "true purpose" in the tea leaves of life can take your attention and energy away from creating the kind of life that would actually support the accomplishment these purposes in the first place.

A far better is alternative to create what I call a "Groundhog Day-Proof Life." Based on the Bill Murray movie in which his character has to live the same day over and over, this concept involves creating a life that reflects your values, offers you opportunities to challenge yourself and is fulfilling enough and just plain pleasant enough so that if by some strange cosmic fluke you became trapped in any given day of your life, it would be a good thing rather than a tragedy. Living this sort of life virtually ensures that you will be who and where you need to be to fulfill any purpose you may have been sent here to accomplish, while at the same time providing you with a wonderful and rewarding "rest of your life" in the process.

Summary

Getting the most out of life isn't about living "right." It's about living well. Learning to consciously steer your life in the direction you want to take it, making the choice to live by your own set of values and desires and making sure that you get the most out of the limited days you are given ensures that when the time comes for your life to pass before your eyes in review, the show will definitely be worth the price of the admission.

Can The Existence Of Life After Death Be Proven?

Can The Existence Of Life After Death Be Proven? by Bob Daulby

If there is a problem at all when trying to establish the existence of a life after our passing here, it is proof. In having read many articles concerning this topic, it can be easily seen that so many of us have ideas - and often, very different ideas at that - but that I have yet to come across just one that will bring each of us this much needed proof.

Although most of us will go through life not giving another thought to our sure passing yet, there comes a time in all our lives when we are suddenly confronted with death in such a way that we cannot ignore it any longer. And so, we will ask ourselves then, "Will I live on after this life?"

As far as I am concerned, death is not something that we should push aside out of dread or ignorance but is something that we should study as soon as we are able to. This is so that, when - not 'if' - we are confronted with death, it will not come as a shock and, more importantly, it will also not be a source of grief either but rather, one of joy.

Through instilled religion, society has taught us to be afraid of death. To compound this fear, we are also taught to 'pooh-pooh' or deride the possibility of life existing *after* death - whereby we continue forever onwards *anyway* - as a topic for the 'ill-advised' or the 'ignorant'. To make matters even more fearful and confusing for us, experts, psychics, shamans, priests, ministers or whoever, can not only not bring us this much needed proof but that, should proof ever arise at all then no one agrees that it is. It is because of this lack of agreement - the need to reach common ground - that, we, the public at large, lose out. In short, if there weren't quite so many egos and wannabes out there believing that they are the only ones who hold 'the truth' then, we would not suffer as we do as far as death and a life after death is concerned.

And so, in bearing these in mind, it becomes all the more necessary to not only find the existence of life after death but also to be able to prove it leaving us in no doubt that we too - *shall* live on.

Proof?

In having now been in actual contact with Our Worlds Beyond for a very long time now, from my own experiences, I can now reveal that an all-round, generic proof, of a life existing after our deaths is a long way off if not nigh impossible. Until science itself can reach a general consensus - which is highly unlikely (and this because 'they' can't agree either) - then the very idea of finding this irrefutable proof that will cross all boundaries regardless of their origins - is but a distant dream. And so, when skeptics use this angle - the need for the irrefutable - is already a lost argument and so, as they gain, believers lose. Most of all, we ALL lose.

So, what is to be done about this?

During my many years of experience with our so-called 'unknown', along the way, I have brought even total strangers to my sessions to note, not only their reaction but also as to what they say is 'proof'. It was during this period of my research that I have discovered that, although generic proof is not yet available yet 'personal' proof is. Not only is personal proof available but it has been available since Man first walked upon this planet.

Let me give you an example of personal proof.

When I first made friends with computers, got myself on the Internet etc. to be in actual contact with someone from Peru to me, was an out and out miracle. But what compounded that miracle was that, after only a month, I recieved a letter from him which proved to me that he existed and that he did indeed come from Peru. To me, this was personal proof of someone I met through this new fangled means of communication.

The above is personal proof - for me and only me and yet, to you, this is all a fairy tale. Why? Because YOU were not there, YOU didn't speak to him, YOU did not experience any of this and YOU did not recieve a letter from Peru. Thus, why should you 'believe' me? Had you not been taught Geography at school then, to you, even Peru would not exist would it?

Unlike me, you have not been taught about the true existence of life after death and so, to you, until you are taught then, you will always doubt and you will always require proof. Until you are taught; until you receive your own personal proof, this proof will always elude you.

It's time to learn isn't it?

I Thank You For Your Time.

Starting The Path To A Spiritual Journey

Starting The Path To A Spiritual Journey

Starting The Path To A Spiritual Journey by Lynn Claridge

A spiritual path is easy to miss because it is subtle. It is a path to your higher consciousness with fuller awareness. Upon entering the spiritual path, you will begin to change your perceptions and see new interpretations of reality. You will learn to heal yourself from the conditioning of childhood, societal mores and traditional thinking. You move from being unaware to becoming an empowered, conscious, loving, holistic, and fully functioning person. You will start to understand the mysteries of life.

As your awareness expands, you will realize there is only one of you. Who you are expands to include all the parts of your life. Knowing and feeling connected to this full-self unfolds in stages, as there are degrees of truth along the way to full truth. It is a continual process of exploring yourself and others, participating in relationships and groups, and learning from experiences of your inner-self.

How do you start your spiritual journey?

Often it begins with a personal crisis that starts an inner desire to look beneath the surface of what is happening to find richer meaning and purpose.

These questions could include such things as.

Who am I outside of my roles and conditioning?

Why am I here?

What would give my life more meaning and purpose?

Why do these things happen to me?

How can I help myself?

Why do I worry about what my family and friends think?

How can I heal my dysfunctional thoughts, feelings and behaviors?

How can I change my life so that I like my life?”

These questions and many others need answering; this will then cause you to move into a deeper quest for life. Life is always answering your inner questions by bringing you answers and new experiences. These experiences may come to you through books or religious teachings, or by listening and learning as you grow. However, you have to be ready to see, feel and hear the insights.

Sometimes it is not even a conscious thought that begins the journey. It might be that you are having problems or you have a habit that needs changing, or a relationship that is not working. At what point would you want to enter a therapy group, a counseling group, or a family therapy group to help improve your situation. Many of these types of groups can open the doors to a deeper search.

You may respond because you have had too much pain and suffering after a catastrophic event like an illness, divorce, loss of a job or a death of a family member. These experiences force you often to look for answers. This is because you become confused, hurt or angry. When you are in this frame of mind, you can open yourself to new ideas.

Another way you can move on to a spiritual path is if you have a partner who is willing to join you on your journey, especially if they are constantly changing and growing, helping to introduce new ideas and catalyzing the relationship. When you stay in a relationship, you can evolve together.

When you decide to make you journey, some mystical experiences can bring you change that will last forever. This is an expansion of consciousness, greater than everyday life. This is where you can lift the veil of non-understanding. Once you have made the changes you will make an instant change in your life. You will release all your fears and start to understand that love is the underlying principal of the universe. You can change you life forever.

The circle and the spiral of life.

Let us now look at two different people. One is living a normal life and one is starting their spiritual journey. For clarity let us call her Susan and let us say that Susan lives her life in a line that goes from point A to point B, eventually this makes a circle from birth to death. Susan is born into a family that would expect her to follow the family’s example. This includes family values and beliefs that have been handed down from one generation to the next. Therefore, Susan stays within the comfort of her conditioning.

If Susan decides to move out from the family footsteps, it would probably be in reaction to extreme situations. Susan jumps to another point and has the tendency to over-correct and therefore, act out the opposite side of the coin. Susan may look like she is thinking for herself and acting differently; however, she is still dealing with the same coin. Susan will still condition and will still stay within the boundaries of the family circle.

Time will tell if Susan returns to the traditions or truly moves into higher consciousness. I would like to point out at this point that many who find their spiritual path do go back to traditional ways; they just experience it with a newer and deeper understanding.

So now, let us look at person number two, we will call this person Peter. Peter looks at the boundaries in the circle and is not satisfied, wanting more from his life than following the line from point A to point B. This calls forth a deeper process in a number of ways (some that we mentioned earlier) so, Peter moves out of the circle. The circle now becomes a new configuration, a spiral. The circle represents a closed system, repeating what has been modeled and taught. It is very difficult for new information to get into this system. When Peter enters the spiral, he makes a shift upwards and moves into a new dimension, an open system, which is full of information not known within the circle.

Another way to explain this is to use a mountain. Susan lives at the bottom of the mountain and everything is familiar. Is this where you are? If you are, then you may have learned for example, that you are an extension of your parents or family. You need to conform to the roles and rules of these groups. You may respond to them telling you what to do. However, you should remember your body is of physical beauty, strength and youth, and this is what counts in your life.

Alternatively, you may believe that your possessions make you who you are. Others around you may think that it is great that you have a high IQ and you did well at school. You have plenty of money and you seem to have it all. That is all very well except that true happiness and having a connection to your inner self, are missing.

If this makes you think about what your role is, and what is missing in your life, that is a good thing. This is the point that you may actually move away from the bottom of the mountain onto the spiral where you will find your true self. Are you ready to walk up the mountain and find your hidden path to your higher realizations? It may be uncomfortable at first and your rational mind might try to talk you into going back down the mountain for safety and familiarity. As you climb, you will start to find others who want to share ideas with you and who can answer a few of your questions. You may find the life you really want.

You now have some ideas to ponder over. What journey do you want to take?

We have looked at the difference between Susan who is not willing to walk away from the circle to start her journey; therefore, she will stay this way forever. We have also looked at Peter, who wants to change his circle; therefore, he will have a happier and fuller life.

Many experiences and thinking patterns can initiate your spiritual journey. The decision is up to you.

Do you want a higher awareness or do you want to live a life where you are blind to what you can really become?

Arhata and Bodhisattva

Arhata and Bodhisattva

Osho: The teachings of Gautam Buddha have created two kinds of seekers: one is called Arhata and the other is called Bodhisattva.

The arhata is someone who makes every effort to become enlightened and once he is enlightened he completely forgets about those who are still groping in the dark. He has no concern with others. It is enough for him to become enlightened. In fact, according to the arhatas, even the great idea of compassion is nothing but again another kind of attachment -- and it has some significance to be understood.

Compassion is also a relationship; howsoever beautiful and great, it is also a concern with others. It is also a desire. Although it is a good desire it makes no difference. According to the arhatas, desire is a bondage whether it is good or bad. The chains can be made of gold or of steel, it doesn't matter; chains are chains. Compassion is a golden chain. The arhata insists that nobody can help anybody else at all. The very idea of helping others is based on wrong foundations. You can help only yourself.

It may occur to the ordinary mind that the arhata is very selfish. But if you look without any prejudice, perhaps he also has something immensely important to declare to the world: Even helping the other is an interference in his life, in his lifestyle, in his destiny, in his future. Hence, arhatas don't believe in any compassion. Compassion to them is another beautiful desire to keep you tethered to the world of attachments. It is another name -- beautiful, but still just a name for a desiring mind.

Why should you be interested that somebody else becomes enlightened? It is none of your business. Everybody has absolute freedom to be himself. The arhata insists on individuality and its absolute freedom. Even for the sake of good, nobody can be allowed to interfere in anybody else's life. Hence the moment he becomes enlightened, the arhata does not accept disciples, he never preaches, he never helps in any way. He simply lives in his ecstasy. If somebody on his own can drink out of his well he will not prevent him, but he will not send an invitation to you.

If you come to him on your own accord and sit by his side and drink his presence, and get on the path, that is your business. If you go astray, he will not stop you. In a certain way this is the greatest respect ever paid to individual freedom -- to the very logical extreme. Even if you are falling into deep darkness, the arhata will silently wait. If his presence can help, it is okay, but he is not going to move his hands to help you, to give you a hand, to pull you out of a ditch. You are free to fall in a ditch and if you can fall in a ditch, you are absolutely capable of getting out of it.

The very idea of compassion is foreign to the philosophy of the arhatas. Gautam Buddha accepted that there are a few people who will become Arhatas. And their path will be called Hinayana, "the small vehicle," the small boat in which only one person can go to the other shore. He does not bother to create a big ship and collect a crowd in a Noah's Ark and take them to the further shore. He simply goes himself in his small boat, which cannot even contain two. He is born alone in the world, he has lived and died millions of times alone in the world; alone he is going to the universal source.

Buddha accepts and respects the way of the Arhata -- but he also knows there are people who have immense compassion and when they become enlightened, their first longing is to share their joy, to share their truth. Compassion is their way. They also have some profound truth. These people are called bodhisattvas. They provoke and invite others to the same experience. And they wait on this shore as long as possible to help all seekers who are ready to move on the path, and who just need a guide; they need a helping hand.

The bodhisattva can postpone his going to the further shore out of compassion for blind people groping in darkness. Buddha had such a comprehensive and vast perception that he accepted both -- that this is simply the nature of a few people to be arhatas, and it is also simply the nature of a few other people to be bodhisattvas. And this is the standpoint of Gautam Buddha, that such is the case, nothing can be done about it -- an arhata will be an arhata and a bodhisattva will be a bodhisattva.

Their natures have different destinies, although they reach to the same goal finally. But after reaching the goal there is a parting of the ways. The arhatas don't stay on this shore even for a single moment. They are tired, they have been long enough in this wheel of Samsara, moving through birth and death millions of times. It has already been too much. They are bored and they don't want to stay even a single minute more. Their boat has arrived, and immediately they start moving towards the further shore. This is their suchness.

And there are bodhisattvas who can tell the boatman, "Wait, there is no hurry. I have lingered on this shore long enough -- in misery, in suffering, in anguish, in agony. Now all that has disappeared. I am in absolute bliss, silence and peace, and I don't see that there is anything more on the other shore. So as long as I can manage, I will be here to help people."

Gautam Buddha is certainly one of those people who can see the truth even in contradictions. He accepts both without making anybody feel lower or higher. But bodhisattvas call their path -- against the path of the arhatas -- Mahayana, "the great vehicle," the great ship. The other is just a small boat. Poor fellows, they simply go alone. And there has been a continuous conflict for twenty-five centuries after Gautam Buddha, between these two different approaches.

i carry your heart with me

i carry your heart with me
by e. e. cummings

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Notes: No End and No Beginning

No End and No Beginning

The Theosophic Doctrine of the Human Soul

A talk with Mr. Judge, one of the leaders of the New Religious Movement.
[From the Baltimore American, November 25, 1890]

Mr. William Q. Judge of New York, one of the leaders of the Theosophical movement, which is now attracting so much attention in America and various quarters of the globe, was in Baltimore yesterday. Mr. Judge is a member of the New York Bar, and is the general secretary of the Theosophical Society in the United States and President of the New York branch. He lectured before the Washington branch of the Society Sunday night, and stopped here with some friends of the Baltimore branch on his way to New York. Mr. Judge is one of the original founders of the Society in this country, and has traveled a great deal in India, where the movement has obtained a considerable foothold. He talks entertainingly and intelligently of the movement and its objects.

"Theosophy," he said, "is eternal truth, but the Theosophical Society is a movement which aims to carry out the original intention which was in the best minds of the men who drew up the Declaration of American Independence. That was an effort for our freedom -- an example and incentive for the world -- to have its effect in subsequent ages. The Theosophical Society is an attempt begun in America to shake off the shackles from the mind and heart; to make men free in soul as the American Constitution makes them free in body. Until this double freedom is obtained, the Constitution and the blood and labors of the friends of Washington will have been shed and prosecuted in vain.

"The Society was founded in New York city in 1875, just fifteen years ago. Its two great apostles, Mme. H. P. Blavatsky and Col. H. S. Olcott, moved the headquarters to India in 1878, for the purpose of taking advantage of the great store of metaphysical and occult learning there and to enlist the sympathy of the educated Hindu, so that we in the West should later on reap the benefit of the use of the great mass of almost buried knowledge now in India. There are about 180 branches of the Society there now. We have about twenty in Europe, some in Greece, in Africa -- in fact, in all corners of the globe. In America there are forty-nine chartered branches in the great cities -- over fifteen on the Pacific Coast, in Vicksburg, in New York, and all along the direct line west from New York to San Francisco. They are out in Iowa, in the wilds of Chicago, in sleepy Philadelphia and cultured Baltimore. Besides these branches, there are many members unattached to any local branch in all parts of the land. The ideas which the pioneers gave out in 1875 are now entrenched in literature, in the drama, in the minds of the curious and the student. Sydney Rosenfeld had a play running at Wallacks in New York, based on these ideas, called 'The Stepping-Stone,' only a few months ago, in which it is mentioned and used for a plot as well as he could do with his limited knowledge of it.

It Keeps the Hindus Busy.
"India is full of educated men, and they told me that the Society had succeeded in bringing together men of all their creeds and castes in the search for truth, and to carry out the object of the Society, which is universal brotherhood, and the British Government recognizes the Society as a strong factor in keeping the Hindus well occupied and tending to unite them in peaceful and fraternal bonds. Idolatry is not so common there as you may suppose. Interested missionaries endeavor to make it appear to you that the Hindus are all idolators, but the fact is that the Hindu has plenty of pure monotheism, and also enough philosophy to prevent its being an idolatrous or a Christian country. One of them said to me one day: 'You had better tell your countrymen that there is no use to endeavor to substitute among the Hindus the worship of three Gods in one, with the worship of a virgin added, for the purity of the Hindu religion and philosophy. It is a waste of money, for our people will allow their children to be taught English by the missionary, but every evening will explain to the youth how pernicious it is to listen seriously to men who do not know how to engage in debate with learned Brahmans.' Indeed, many an old Hindu told me that they thanked the Christian for teaching them a language useful for commerce, but did not care about a religion borrowed from their own.

No Beginning, No End.
"Our only slogan is, 'There is no religion higher than truth.' That is the ancient family motto of the great kings of Benares, the Hindu sacred city on the Ganges river. Our important doctrine is called Karma. That means action and the result of action. It means that as you sow so shall you reap. Every deed that you do and every thought that you have will one day come back to you for good or evil, in this life or another. We hold that the soul of man is immortal, and has, hence, always been immortal. As it has no end, so it never had a beginning. And, therefore, the theory of reincarnation must be admitted. We say that the soul comes up from the very deeps of matter, through the animals, into the form of man. Once a man, always a man. After that, the soul is reborn over and over again in human form on this earth. Today it is in a beggar's body; next life on earth it may be in a king. The poor man today was the rich man of a preceding earth-life and the rich now was once a poor man. The poor but good man is now being punished, because in his former life of ease and wealth he misused his opportunity and oppressed his fellows. And so, too, any present rich but wicked man will make such bad Karma that in the next life here he will be poor and oppressed. So, then, the two doctrines of Karma and Reincarnation are twins. They go together and supplement each other. Karma may be called 'the moral law of compensation.' This accounts for the vicissitudes of life, and to explain why there are savages in the wilds and savages in the cities, and why some really good and worthy people are so often poor and miserable all their lives. It explains all the problems which confront the Christian minister, and which cannot be otherwise met.

They are not Spiritualists.
"If this is believed, then we see how to attribute justice to God. For if you say that those who will not believe in the church and in Jesus are damned, where are all the millions who lived millions of years before Jesus and never heard of him? If you say that perhaps Jesus appeared before and died before, then you admit reincarnation. We find warrant for these ideas in the Bible. Jesus said, 'Judge not, that ye be not judged,' and, 'As you measure, so it will be measured to you.' If He meant all that, and I think so, then if you are saved from the measure and the judgments by belief in Him, what is the use of the judgment? Then Jesus asked, 'Whom do men think I am?' referring to ideas as to whom he was the reincarnation of. And when His disciples asked Him if a man was born blind for some act of his in a previous life, He did not deny the doctrine. Henry Ward Beecher's brother wrote a book called the Conflict of the Ages many years ago to prove that reincarnation is an absolutely essential doctrine to complete the Christian scheme.

"Then there is the underlying doctrine of unity, which is expressed in the Hindu Scriptures in this way: 'All spiritual beings are the same in kind, only differing in degree.' Now, the Hindu word for man and spirit is the word purusha, so that men are spiritual beings, are all united. Thus, it is our race Karma that we have the Anglo-Saxon brutality and material tendencies, together with its great energy. The Hindu supplements this with his high metaphysical faculty and devotional spirit. By blending these we will eliminate the brute and make the perfect man of future ages. We have many highly scientific doctrines which are gaining ground, but are too abstruse for ordinary readers.

"We are not Spiritualists. We hold to spirit, for our religion may be called the religion of the soul; but we say that the soul of man is not a returning and communicating entity, except in a regularly born human being. Hence, we admit facts in Spiritualism, but deny conclusions. To admit that these facts prove the return of the dead would be the same as saying that the sounds issuing from the phonograph prove the speakers spirit to be present in the diaphragm, which is nonsense.

"It might interest you to know that from the general secretary's office in New York 219,000 tracts have been sent out through the United States during the past two years."

Trust in the unfolding...

In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty...in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning. And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.

- Deepak Chopra

Trust in the unfolding...

Not Everyone Can Be In Your Front Row

Not Everyone Can Be In Your Front Row

Life is a theater - invite your audience carefully... Not everyone is spiritually healthy and mature enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance...

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships/fellowships!

Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill?

When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have drama or don't really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you?

When you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.

You cannot change the people around you...but you can change the people you are around! Choose wisely the people you allow to sit in the front row of your life!!

One Big Bang, or were there many?

One Big Bang, or were there many?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2006/may/05/spaceexploration.universe
· New theory tries to solve problem Einstein raised
· Universe may be much older, say cosmologists

The universe is at least 986 billion years older than physicists thought and is probably much older still, according to a radical new theory.

The revolutionary study suggests that time did not begin with the big bang 14 billion years ago. This mammoth explosion which created all the matter we see around us, was just the most recent of many.

The standard big bang theory says the universe began with a massive explosion, but the new theory suggests it is a cyclic event that consists of repeating big bangs.

"People have inferred that time began then, but there really wasn't any reason for that inference," said Neil Turok, a theoretical physicist at the University of Cambridge, "What we are proposing is very radical. It's saying there was time before the big bang."

Under his theory, published today in the journal Science with Paul Steinhardt at Princeton University in New Jersey, the universe must be at least a trillion years old with many big bangs happening before our own. With each bang, the theory predicts that matter keeps on expanding and dissipating into infinite space before another horrendous blast of radiation and matter replenishes it. "I think it is much more likely to be far older than a trillion years though," said Prof Turok. "There doesn't have to be a beginning of time. According to our theory, the universe may be infinitely old and infinitely large."

Today most cosmologists believe the universe will carry on expanding until all the stars burn out, leaving nothing but their cold dead remains. But there is an inherent problem with this picture. The Cosmological Constant - a mysterious force first postulated by Albert Einstein that appears to be driving the galaxies apart - is much too small to fit the theory. Einstein later renounced it as his "biggest blunder".

The Cosmological Constant is a mathematical representation of the energy of empty space, also known as "dark energy", which exerts a kind of anti-gravity force pushing galaxies apart at an accelerating rate.

It happens to be a googol (1 followed by 100 zeroes) times smaller than would be expected if the universe was created in a single Big Bang. But its value could be explained if the universe was much, much older than most experts believe.

Mechanisms exist that would allow the Constant to decrease incrementally through time. But these processes would take so long that, according to the standard theory, all matter in the universe would totally dissipate in the meantime.

Turok and Steinhardt's theory is an alternative to another explanation called the "anthropic principle", which argues that the constant can have a range of values in different parts of the universe but that we happen to live in a region conducive to life.

"The anthropic explanations are very controversial and many people do not like them," said Alexander Vilenkin a professor of theoretical physics at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Rather than making precise predictions for features of the universe the anthropic principle gives a vague range of values so it is difficult for physicists to test, he added.

"It's absolutely terrible, it really is giving up," said Prof Turok, "It's saying that we are never going to understand the state of the universe. It just has to be that way for us to exist." His explanation by contrast is built up from first principles.

But if he's right, how long have we got until the next big bang? "We can't predict when it will happen with any precision - all we can say is it won't be within the next 10 billion years." Good job, because if we were around we would instantly disintegrate into massless particles of light.

in a world you may not always
understand.

May the pain you have known
and the conflict you have experienced
give you the strength to walk through life
facing each new situation
with optimism and courage.

Always know that there are those
whose love and understanding will always
be there, even when you feel most alone.

May you discover enough goodness in others
to believe in a world of peace.

May a kind word, a reassuring touch,
a warm smile be yours every day of your life,
and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.

Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.
Teach love to those who know hate, and let that love
embrace you as you go into the world.

May the teaching of those you admire
become part of you, so that you may
call upon them.

Remember, those whose lives you have touched
and who have touched yours are always a part of you,
even if the encounters were less than
you would have wished.

May you not become too concerned
with material matters, but instead place
immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart.

Find time in each day to see the beauty
and love in the world around you.
Realize that each person has limitless abilities,
but each of us is different in our own way.

What you may feel you lack in one regard
may be more than compensated for in another.

What you feel you lack in the present
may become one of your strengths in the future.
May you see your future
as one filled with promise and possibility.

Learn to view everything
as a worthwhile experience.

May you find enough inner strength
to determine your own worth by yourself,
and not be dependent on another’s
judgments of your accomplishments.

May you always
feel loved.

What Is Tribal Mind?

What Is Tribal Mind? by Viva Dana

What Is Tribal Mind?
How Does It Influence Your Life?

Have You Ever Heard Of
The Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon?

There are several versions of this scientific research project and quite typically, human view falls divided as to the outcome of this research. The common version goes like this: one little female monkey began washing her potatoes in the ocean in order to get the sand grits off of her food. Certain other monkeys in her group followed suit.

When monkey mass-mind energy became vibrationally great enough, suddenly on several islands surrounding them other monkeys began the same behavior - even though the groups had no direct contact with one another.

This was deemed ‘The Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon’ by the researchers who witnessed them. Following theories suggested that when an invisible idea from one monkey became magnified by group mind, it was received by other group mind in surrounding areas.

In further researching this study, we find that the original story pales in comparison of the human grapevine stories that abound. However, it is our guess that 'consciousness' in all species evolves not just through mass thought, but through individuated physical and behavioral interaction with others.

The consciousness of these sharing individuals then expands according to each individual’s innate ability to 'receive' more information. This means that not all evolve at the same time but rather, the evolving souls who are awakening, take on a subtle leadership role in establishing expanded perception by 'demonstration' of expanded being ness.

From a metaphysical point of view, all species evolve in the same manner, including humans because we are all energetically connected to one another. As one human being shifts in consciousness, so too do certain others around him. Ultimately and multiply-applied throughout the globe, this is how humanity slowly evolves.

Authentic psychic research nurtures the idea that expanded reality is a very natural and real next step in our evolutionary process. As we begin to educate ourselves regarding our own sensitivities and intuitive abilities, we also begin to redirect our thoughts and refocus our energies toward manifesting in the truest sense, our deepest desires.

When everyone can begin to see that psychic gifting is a divine and innate capability in each of us, we will automatically change our distorted behaviors toward one another because we will instantly understand how our thoughts and actions toward all others directly affect our own experiences. The Hundredth Monkey Syndrome merely enables us to look at the invisible aspects of our selves that 'drive us' to act and outwardly behave in certain ways. When we become aware of the energies we are emitting toward others and our surroundings, we begin to consciously monitor those energies in more masterful ways.

As each comes to understand the nature of human sensory gifting in relation to the bio-energetic body, each comes to a place of self-empowerment. To be clear, focused and aware of how one sends and receives energy is to be a master of one's own destiny. It sets soul creativity on a path of true soul borne pioneer ship rather than loosing it to a sea of chaotic and limiting linear minded tribal consciousness.

Tribal mind is a very real energy that has movement. Mass hysteria during wartime or mass panic during natural disasters such as the Tsunami and Katrina are common examples of the energy of tribal mind when it moves en force and in one direction. As the energy builds, the bio-energetic bodies of each human being engulfed in it begins to correspond to that movement. Fear energy, chaos and panic become very real emotions felt and experienced by many.

As more and more people begin to learn how their unique souls are mass triggered by certain global events, they can begin a process of dis-egaging from tribal mind even when seeming disasters strike. This process of dis-engagement enables a soul to walk through situations that may appear difficult to others, but may in fact, not be difficult at all. This is the path of guruhood that many millions are beginning to embark upon via methods for retraining the physical body to remain calm and centered, no matter what. Such methods as yoga, meditation and rebirthing/breath techniques help in stabilizing the bio-energetic bodies so they are not so easily shifted by tribal mind.

Understanding How You Are Connected To 'All That Is'

Understanding How You Are Connected To 'All That Is' by Viva Dana

These days, with such an abundance of information streaming through television or throughout cyberspace; it's hard to know exactly where to start one's education when it comes to all things meta-physical. Many people express a true desire to know more about their psychic heritage and yet with all the information available, it seems that a straight-forward explanation of our connectedness, always gets lost amidst a sea of linear minded, somewhat confused human ideas.

Here's a nutshell overview on how everything meta-physically works:

Earth

(Rearrange one letter to spell HEART)
Earth is conscious. Earth feels the urge to grow and evolve just as humans do because Earth is part of the creation of Eternity. There is no separation between Earth, the heavenly skies or all of the creatures and beings existent on and within Earth's planetary shelf. Beneath Earth's physical structure exists Earth's invisible energetic structure (consciousness). Beneath our physical structures lie our invisible energy fields or our consciousness as well. It is all the same energy, rearranged into varying patterns of 'consciousness'. The only thing missing from the equation of the Universe is Humanity's true understanding of what cannot be visually seen by the human eye.

All Life Herein

All aspects of life as we know it has consciousness. All of life has capacity to absorb, emit, think, evolve and feel. Each part of life that appears physical to the human eye has a non-physical part that connects it to all that exists. Each tree, each blade of grass, each insect and each animal has a dream to evolve and change. The only thing missing is Humanity's complete understanding of this.

Your Soul Design

Your soul is invisible and yet it exists. All other beings also have an invisible essence that drives their physical counterpart into motion in this physical world. All human souls are energetically driven to think, feel and act. So too are all co-existing creatures. What energetic thought or emotional patterns the soul force moves upon is what determines how a soul functions in the physical world. When human souls do not consciously understand their own internal thought patterns, they create dis-harmonious conditions on planet Earth though their outward BEHAVIOR toward one another.

Your Human Evolution

Each of you evolves according to your own unique energetic configurations and yet each of you influences one another in your evolutional journey as a whole or mass consciousness. Therefore, when groupings of humans awaken or come to a level of greater awareness, the energy of such groups affects the whole at an accelerated rate. Human awakening comes from within but most often is sparked by what appears to be outer events. Humanity is not only probed to awaken by it's humans members. It is probed to awaken by all of the creatures that surround humanity who already carry an awareness of their connectedness to the whole environment. This includes Earth's ability to change and shift human consciousness when it feels it needs to cleanse itself of stagnant human thought form that holds dis-harmonious energies.

The Physical & Psychic You

The Physical you is a denser representation of the energetic soul-impulsed you. All of your organs and your entire physical makeup is created of the invisible and less dense energy patterns that underlie your physical forms. Hence, all humans beings are psychically connected because they are energetically connected. As humans begin to shed the denser energetic barriers that hold them perceptually separate from that which is around them, so too do they become more sensitive to these underlying energies. Sensitivity to these unseen energies is the beginning of understanding one's innate and divine psychic gifting and heritage.

Your Power To Create & Destroy

When humans create without awareness and from disconnected perspectives they destroy other forms of consciousness without remorse or thought. The physical world is shaped by mass human thoughts that enable humans to endeavor building physical creations 'without consideration' as to whether these creations serve the whole planet or serve only humans. When ANYTHING is created without consideration of the whole good - that creation's foundation is doomed to break apart for it shall be founded on a perception of separation. When human beings begin to create with 'Unity Consciousness', whole societies can evolve on Earth's surface in a harmonious and non-destructive way.

Your Connection To Everything That Exists

As each of you wakens each day, your soul is impulsed to create. What you create and how you create affects the entire creation as a whole. If humans continue to choose to create with only 'human self' in mind, they will find that they co-create destruction for themselves again and again, for 'self interest creating' within a Unified Energetic World Structure does not net harmonious experiences.

Your Gifts To Bring Forth To This World

Each human soul must first ask of itself what it's purpose is. If this question is never asked, then such souls simply function on a level whereas the consciousness is driven by that which surrounds it only. Whatever training each soul has received is then acted out behaviorally, according to such trainings, without question.

This is not considered 'conscious co-creation'. It is simply one form or type of human existence. When a soul can ascertain from within what it desires to experience and then behaviorally seeks to achieve this in the physical world, creating as it goes, a path of unified or harmonious behavior toward all that surrounds it, this begins the path toward true soul activation and global co-creatorship.

If in the seeking of such goals, a soul uses behaviors of separation; greed, theft, lies, betrayal etc., then such souls though creators, do not understand the Universal principle of Unity from which everything is birthed or created. Such souls then create chaos and havoc that each of you witnesses in your world. If other souls seek their dreams with behavioral actions that signify unity consciousness, then such are true masters and co-creators of not just the world, but of the Universe and they function in alignment with the natural order of the Universe.

It is the mix of some humans behaving with only self in mind and other humans that function with Unity Consciousness that confuses everyone about why we cannot seem to evolve out of our negative behaviors. Evolvement must come from within each soul. When a soul internally evolves in consciousness, it's outer actions are more fully in alignment with the Universal energies of 'All That Is'.

Human evolvement by design is a very slow, unseen energetic process. As more and more of us begin to see our 'energy connectedness' to everything around us, we will begin to 'create' things with more wisdom and consideration of all living things that surround us. Hence, we will begin to collectively manifest a much more peaceful world.

What Happens While We Sleep: A Spiritual Perspective

What Happens While We Sleep: A Spiritual Perspective by Julie Redstone

The body is a miracle of organization and intelligence in which life is continually renewed and energy continually replenished so that the total organism can continue to live. Sleeping involves part of this renewal, and is a process through which the higher vibrations of light are permitted greater access to the physical body because the emotional and mental components of personality that are often limiting factors in the awake state are no longer present while one sleeps. Although dreaming produces mental and emotional content and therefore creates emotional states, the content of these is part of the sleep state itself and not a barrier to the energies that would restore, heal, and rejuvenate.

The quality of sleeping has a great deal to do with the amount of restoration that can take place. Deep sleep produces not only different brainwave patterns, but also permits a greater influx of light energy into the cells and tissues so that toxins can be removed and greater energy can be infused on a cellular level. This does not happen in any kind of conscious way. It happens because of the nature of the human body which has never truly been separated from the higher realms of light, despite one's waking experience. At night, this body rejoins its higher counterparts that are the non-physical energy bodies, and a more seamless union of different aspects of one's being takes place than can normally occur during daytime functioning.

The infusion of light is not the only thing that can occur during sleep, however. It is also possible for a soul to decide to continue their experiences with other realms while they sleep or to receive teachings from Beings with whom they have had an ongoing soul relationship. Such nighttime experiences are not unusual even if not recalled, and many people benefit during the daytime from learning acquired at night which is unknown to them, but which occurs to their conscious mind as insight or inspiration later on. Much of this insight has taken place during the sleep state, when access to one's own higher intelligence as well as to the help and teachings of others, can infuse the mind and the understanding and be held there till such time as the conscious mind can retrieve the information or inspiration.

For those who have sleeping difficulties, there is very often a preceding difficulty that has occurred in relation to connecting with the spiritual realms. Often, something has occurred during previous lifetimes which has created a greater separation between one's embodied self and the higher self and higher energy bodies that exist on other planes. Because of this preceding separation, during the night when one wants to be asleep, it is often difficult to do so because the seamless transmission of energy from one level of being to another cannot smoothly take place. Where this is the case, there may be longstanding problems with sleep and much wonderment about what the cause might be. Often, the cause is not physical but spiritual and energetic, that is, it is related to the perceived separation of physical life from spiritual life and the manifestation of that sense of separation through sleeplessness.

Much healing is possible at night, including healing of sleep disturbances as well. If there is a possibility for one in need of healing to relax, and instead of trying to sleep, rather to try to enter an intermediate 'twilight' zone of being partly asleep and partly awake, it is possible to rest in this state and to gain much of the nourishment from the upper realms that one would normally gain during deeper sleep. Healing of other kinds is also possible, for the relationship with the spiritual realms continues whether one perceives it to be so or not, indeed, whether one seeks it or not, and helpers of all kinds are available when called upon to help address problems, both emotional and physical, that may be troubling during the day.

The capacity to enter a deeper state of sleep is one that needs to be appreciated as part of the extraordinary complexity and beauty of the way the human body has been fashioned, for there is a self-maintaining function built into the body itself which renews itself, heals itself, and restores a sufficient amount of energy after it has been depleted so that the body can remain in a viable state for experiencing life within the physical realm for many years. As more light becomes present on earth and infuses the cellular structure of people's bodies, this capacity for renewal and sustenance will become much more available, and many of the ailments that are currently produced by insufficient energy or insufficient life-force will disappear in the presence of greater light.
